The medal of Veneration of Saint Jude comes from a unique matrix because it was created manually. Our brother in Christ Serge Adrover studied the model in order to imbibe it before beginning the meticulous work which required reflection and introspection. Then, he shaped punches on tiny steel chisels and finally, he reconstructed the icon with the naked eye, stamping the iron of the die with each of the chisels, like a puzzle. When the matrix was finished, it was heated in the forge and then soaked. The die was then ready to strike the tin and thus print the medal.
