Why Prayer Intentions?
… The Gospels teach us certain notions that it is good to remember from time to time: sharing, compassion and forgiveness. These concepts must resonate in our hearts. They shouldn't be just empty words.
At a time when we are entering a new era, that of globalization, let us not let ourselves be locked into fear or mistrust of others. Because the other is a little ourselves, like our own reflection in a mirror. So praying for others is also praying for yourself. To forgive others is to forgive oneself, to pray for the forgiveness of one's brothers, it is to pray for one's own forgiveness.

After almost two and a half years of dating, my boyfriend Amaury decided to put an end to our story. He did it without us having any real discussion and not wanting to give us a chance yet.
The last times have been loaded with a lot of stress. We are both coming out of a long exam session. I had health problems during the exams which was not favorable for our situation. He feels completely overwhelmed by his studies, his exams in May and June and the year of internship that awaits him.
Besides that, I have not always been patient or sufficiently understanding. I have some difficulty expressing myself in a moderate way and I do not always choose the right words. He did not always understand the message I wanted to convey and what were my expectations. Our lack of communication in this situation of prolonged stress cost us our relationship although love was more than anything present.
Following this limitless love, which animates me and which was an integral part of our relationship, I pray with all my heart to still have the opportunity to meet and discuss openly. In this Lenten season, when we are trying to get closer to God, I will make sure that I give him more of my time and commit myself to changing my attitude towards my loved ones and Amaury, from whom I am waiting for a sign.
