  • Boil a diced patisson (a species of squash, also called a priest's cap) in salted water.
  • Lentils generally require 1/2 hour of cooking if they have been soaked, but this differs according to the qualities. - Check the cooking often, add a little water if necessary.
  • Add the patisson at the end of cooking, mix with the lentils and sprinkle the dish with a good pinch of chives and 2 tablespoons of toasted sesame seeds.
